Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with California wage and hour laws and California Workers Comp regulations.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
  • Oversee performance management, including conducting employee evaluations, identifying areas for improvement, and developing performance improvement plans.
  • Process payroll and ensure accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all HR data.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including employee relations, benefits, and compensation.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and develop and implement safety programs as needed.
  • Manage employee training and development programs to ensure employee growth and development.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish language skills required.
  • Strong knowledge of California wage and hour laws and California Workers Comp regulations.
  • Experience in performance management, recruitment, and payroll processing.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial workplace preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
