Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with California wage and hour laws and California Workers Comp regulations.
- Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
- Oversee performance management, including conducting employee evaluations, identifying areas for improvement, and developing performance improvement plans.
- Process payroll and ensure accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all HR data.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including employee relations, benefits, and compensation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and develop and implement safety programs as needed.
- Manage employee training and development programs to ensure employee growth and development.
- Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish language skills required.
- Strong knowledge of California wage and hour laws and California Workers Comp regulations.
- Experience in performance management, recruitment, and payroll processing.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial workplace preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
